Today was a restorative day.
I know we don’t really care for that sometimes in the online hustle culture. It’s cool. I get it.
Because we don’t really want to hear about the easy days.
The days when everything tasted good.
When you got enough sleep or got to take a nap.
When you spent all day laughing with people that matter to you.
Those types of easy days.
Without a doubt, they are good for a person. Essential to our health even.
But it makes for rather mundane writing material I suppose.
On the other hand, it’s days like today that makes the grind worth it. They remind us of why we do the things we do. Our WHY’s.
I spent the last month in a cycle of incredible growth. But to some degree, it was taxing. I needed to remember that rest is a vital part of any growth process.
I took a moment to catch my breath and refocus.
Ready for round 2.
