It Took 126 Days of Writing in Public To Realize I Had Something the Entire Time

I use quotations a lot. Like a lot, a lot.

In just over four months of writing online, I’ve used quotations in probably half of my posts. Over thousands of years, lots of people have come up with great ways of expressing the human condition.

Go figure.

It seemed like a no-brainer that I would use my collection of quotations to write with. What I never even considered until yesterday was that the collection of quotations could be the thing itself.

So here we go.

After months of watching amazing creators begin and finish passion projects by building in public, it now seems I am finally ready to join their ranks.

So what brought us here from Day 1?

Two big things:

1. Showing up every day

2. Trying new things until finding something compelling

That’s it.

If you want to do something, all you have to do is do it.

The muse will come, but she has to find you working.
