My wife travels a lot for work. She works long hours. Her job is hard.
I would get fired within a week if I tried to do her job.
When I say she travels a lot, I really mean that. Depending on if she has to travel internationally or not, she could be gone for a couple weeks at a time.
And we have two young kids.
Which means that makes it hard sometimes.
But it’s cool.
I work from home. My sales territory is the West Coast, so I can take my kids to school in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon.
So long as I am doing what I’m supposed to and producing, I’ve got some flexibility in my schedule.
I think it’s important for our boys to see their mother as a strong, driven and accomplished woman.
She great at what she does.
Our children should see that.
And in between those career demands, she serves as mother to our two little boys with poise and elegance that is unmatched.
She loves and supports our family so perfectly and completely.
She also feels a lot of mom-guilt because she’s gone sometimes.
She shouldn’t.
We are proud of her.
Go on and do your thing Mommy.
We got this.
