It was a hell of a week.
My wife left this morning for a weekend girl’s trip and I just got the kids tucked into bed.
I feel tired. And fulfilled. And satisfied.
It was one of those weeks where you reach a fork in the road, you choose the bold route that nobody else is going down, and you quickly realize you chose the right path.
Between my preschooler being on “Spring Break”, whatever the heck that is, and a leadership conference at work, it was equal parts pain and pleasure and pride and prejudice.
And here we are on Friday night. A couple years back, that would probably involve staying up until 2am playing video games and trying to find the answers to my hopes and dreams at the bottom of a beer bottle. Today? Quite different.
Tonight was spent playing with my kids outside, watching the sunset with my oldest after the baby went to bed, and then coming to see what my creative and amazing friends have been producing all day.
Honestly, I thought I’d be more tired after the week that was. But instead what I’ve found was only more energy.
Momentum works that way.
Be bold and mighty forces will come to your aid.
Have a great weekend everyone.
