Make It Count: Not Just a Toast from “Titanic”

I’ve been doing a fair bit of mailing it in when it comes to writing most recently.

One luxury of writing for more than a year is there’s plenty of content to repurpose on days when I just plain don’t damn well feel like writing.

It’s also been a clear sign that once this “500 Days of Online Writing” project comes to completion, it will be time to reassess my goals. I never would have imagined I’d write 400+ essays let alone being almost done with what I considered a massive and audacious goal at the time. But here we are.

Little by little, a little becomes a lot.

Over the long holiday weekend, I had time to think away from work. When we’re constantly on the grind, we sometimes lose sight of what we’re working for. Taking those breaks to stop and take it all in helps us not “miss it”.

And in today’s world filled with so many distractions, it’s easy to miss it.

Don’t be one of the ones that does.

We only get one chance at this.

Make it count.
